Vacations...I need one

Our trip last fall was GREAT!
I thought I'd share some pics here,
along with some interesting links...

BEACHCAM...LIVE!This will take you to the Beachcam, for live action at 3
different beaches back East. We stood in front of it on
the Boardwalk in Ocean City, MD. It's on top of
The Kite Loft.

AntietamThis will take you to a site on the Antietam National
Battlefield in Maryland. It was an awsome experience
to be there...so beautiful now compared to the pictures
of the Civil War death & devastation. This is a great
site for Civil War buffs. I also have a couple photos we

took, along with more Civil War links, on my "Me" page.

My husband

Mike caught these fish with his Uncle Bud at the
Roaring Point Campground in Nanticoke.

This October, we went to Kansas City

We took off the week of our anniversary
We stayed at a Super 8 in Gardner, KS, in a Jacuzzi Suite!

Here's 2 things I learned from our trip:

1. In a Jacuzzi, that has water jets, when you're wanting to add
some nice anti-stress bubble bath & the instructions say for a
regular bath to only add 2 capfuls, don't add "several"
Altho, if you do, you'll feel like you're in a cloud!

2. If you go have breakfast at a "Waffle House" restaurant, you
can get it free if the cook is stressed out from having to
work all night due to the manager going out partying &
not making it in until 10 the next morning instead of much
earlier, when she was supposed to, so he could go home.
The cook felt bad for making comments about what was
going on, but we didn't feel he was out of line at all.
We left him a nice tip!
